C L A S S   D E S C R I P T I O N S


PLEASE NOTE:
*all levels welcome, unless noted below. 
*please arrive 15 minutes before class, come with an empty stomach and bring a small hand towel. Be prepared to have fun, work up a sweat & release!
*Room will be heated 85-90 to support your practice

FORREST YOGA:  A complete mind & body work out that strengthens and connects you to your core through deep cleansing breath & abdominal work. Re-connect with feeling and bring aliveness into every cell in your body. Explore intensive vinyasa flow &/or standing pose sequences as well as hip openers, twists, back-bends, inversions etc. Through the use of heat and deep breathing you will enable your body to release toxins. Poses are held longer creating internal heat which oxygenate, flush and rejuvenate every cell. You will leave feeling revitalized, open & alive.

YOGA CORE-POWER: Dive into the center if your being. This deep cleansing Yoga class will take you through focused breath work to awaken the core, a series of ab/upper body conditioning postures and regular Yoga poses emphasizing on utilizing the core. Developing a strong center will strengthen your back and help you heal & avoid injuries.

HOT DETOX: 
This flow class is designed for cleansing and detoxifying the body. It will include deep cleansing abdominal and breath-work, vigorous vinyasa flow sequences focusing on connecting the breath with each movement, deep hip openers to decongest the pelvis and improve the immune system, twists to wring the internal organs, revitalize the digestive system and unclog stagnant energy, as well as basic inversions to stimulate the lymphatic and immune system. You will leave feeling cleansed, energized and awake. Please come with an empty stomach and bring a small hand towel.

YOGA Rx (Forrest Yoga):
An all level restorative yoga posture flow designed to heal & strengthen the body, work towards achieving optimal spine health, gain flexibility, balance and release tension.  This class is perfect for those new to yoga, those looking for a gentle class and students that wish to deepen their practice. You will leave feeling healthier, vibrant, and open.


INTRO TO YOGA COURSE
In this series, grounded on the fundamentals of Forrest Yoga, you will:

*learn how to explore and practice breath and inner awareness
*learn proper body positioning & alignment
*receive detailed instruction on correlating movement w/breath
*learn how to use this mind-full practice to gain energy, strength & flexibility

Class is open for beginners, as well as those who want to re-awaken their interest in Yoga or ongoing students who wish to deepen their practice

Note: Room will be heated 80-85 Degrees to support your practice
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
I also offer private yoga sessions. This is a great opportunity to work on specific poses or areas in your body that require special attention. It is also a great tool to improve your practice or learn how to work through emotional issues or physical injuries.
